Two Arrested In Major Meth Bust At Fair Play

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in Fair Play which led to the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of nearly 885 grams of Methamphetamine.

William Timothy Nichols of Rebel Holler Drive has been charged with four counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and one count of Distribution of Methamphetamine, based on the seizure and controlled purchases of narcotics made by undercover operatives during the ongoing drug trafficking investigation. He remains jailed on $400,000 bond.

Additionally, Rebecca Michelle Patterson of Spring Branch Drive was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Xanax, and Subutex after quantities of these substances were discovered on her person during the search. She is in custody on $54,000 bond.

Both will be required to wear electronic monitoring devices should they be released from jail.

The investigation is still ongoing.
