Two Arrested in SC-GA Manhunt

A manhunt at the South Carolina-Georgia border has landed two people in jail. Sister station WSGC reports a man, described only as a shirtless white male with tattoos, was taken into custody at approximately 8:30pm Sunday evening by authorities in Elbert County, Georgia. Another suspect, a female, was also arrested because of the events on Sunday. According to the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect had allegedly set fire to two vehicles. Both suspects have been transported to the Elbert County Detention Center. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been assisting in the case, along with Georgia State Patrol officers and members of the Elberton Police Department.
