Two arrested in Thirteenth Operation Infinity Drug Round Up

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces two additional arrests as part of the thirteenth “Operation Infinity” drug sweep round up that began on April 29. The Sheriff’s Office teamed with partners from the Seneca and Walhalla Police Departments in this latest operation. In all, 18 individuals were being sought on a variety of drug charges involving methamphetamine, prescription drugs, marijuana and crack cocaine. In addition, some individuals are being sought on unlawful neglect of a child charges. So far, eight individuals have been taken into custody with the most recent arrests being 26-year-old Whitney Elaine Cantrell of Walhalla on two counts of distribution of methamphetamine. She was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on May 9 and released on May 10 on a total combined surety bond of $20,000. The other individual arrested was 55-year-old Geroy Eric Tabron of Seneca on one count of distribution of marijuana. He was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on May 9 and his surety bond was set at $10,000. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office continues their investigation in the round up.
