Two Charged by OCSO with Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Other Offenses

Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two people from Fair Play on Thursday afternoon and charged them with multiple offenses.

29 year-old James Austin Beam has been charged with his second offense of 3rd degree burglary, as well as malicious injury to property, possession of a firearm by a violent felon, resisting arrest, giving false information, possession of a stolen vehicle and grand larceny.

32 year-old Jessica Olivia Duffney is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.

Both Beam and Duffney were arrested after deputies determined that a 1998 Ford Windstar van in which they were found on Durham Road had been reported stolen in May from a location in the Anderson County side of Townville.

The two remain in custody pending bond and judicial proceedings.
