Two Half Days remain in OC School Year

Just two days of school remain in the School District of Oconee County. A reminder to parents and motorists, students dismiss early both Wednesday and Thursday, explains Oconee County Schools Superintendent Dr. Michael Thorsland. “We are getting close to wrapping up the year. June 4 is the last official day of school for students, so June 3 and June 4 will be half days for students. They will come in, our high school students will take exams, and students will dismiss. Elementary at 11am and middle and high schools will dismiss around 11:15am.” Watch for kids in school zones and neighborhoods during these times.
