Two OC Deputies appear in Major Law Enforcement Publication

Two deputies with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and a patrol vehicle will appear in an ad in a major law enforcement publication soon. Road patrol deputy Nina McKee and Corporal Josh Sheriff, along with one of the new Sheriff’s Office Chevrolet Caprice patrol vehicles appear in an ad that is contained in the pages of the July issue of Police Magazine for Tactical Medical Solutions. The page is an advertisement for the Downed Officer Kits that is sold and marketed by Tactical Medical Solutions.  Last year through donations by the public, businesses, and Tactical Medical Solutions, as well as a fundraiser held last June at the Gazebo Restaurant in Fair Play, the Sheriff’s Office was able to provide all certified officers a Downed Officer Kit, which contains a tourniquet and other bandages and supplies that officers can use for basic first aid for themselves, other officers and the public until trained medical help can arrive.  Tactical Medical Solutions also provided training at zero cost to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office as well.
