Two Tractor Trailers Crashed on I-85 North: Two Dead

Two people died in a collision between two tractor trailers on I-85 northbound early Sunday morning, according to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office. The crash occurred around 2 a.m. near mile marker 22 and caused traffic delays for hours. The coroner said one of the tractor trailers was having mechanical problems and was slowing down when it was rear-ended by another tractor trailer driven by 47-year-old Tracina Yvette Young, who was carrying a load of toilet paper to Greenville. Young and her passenger, 51-year-old Frederick Leorande Styles, were thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner said.
