Upcoming South Carolina Primaries and Democratic Candidates’ Forum in Seneca

South Carolina’s Democratic primary is on February 3, and the Republican primary is on February 24. Voters can only participate in one primary. While the time to register for the Democratic primary has passed, the deadline to register for the Republican primary is January 25. Early voting starts two weeks before each primary. Absentee voters must request an application form 11 days before their primary. Check the official election website for updates.

Representatives of Democratic Presidential candidates, including DNC Chair Jaime Harrison as the keynote speaker, will be at Seneca’s Blue Ridge Community Center on Friday afternoon, January 19 at 3PM. The candidates are incumbent Joe Biden, Marianne Williamson, and U.S. Representative Dean Phillips. The early voting period is from January 22 to February 2 at the Oconee County Elections Office in Walhalla.
