Upper State AAA Wrestling Qualifier Taking Place This Friday and Saturday
(Seneca, SC)————–According to Seneca Athletic Director Andy Bay, the Upper State AAA individual wrestling qualifier will take place this Friday and Saturday (February 15-16) at Powdersville High School. The following Seneca wrestlers finished in the top 4 at the Region I-AAA Tournament to qualify:
1. Layne Herron (126, Fr)
2. Jaxon Ham (132, Fr.)
3. Caleb Reeves (138. Sr.)
4. Haydn Whitfield (160, So.)
5. Kendall Weeks (182, Fr.)
6. Dylan Gates (195, Jr.)
7. Jackson Winchester ( 220, So.)
According to Coach Bay, to qualify for the State Finals next week at Anderson, each wrestler must finish in the top 4 in his weight class.
