Upstate ROTCs to conduct exercise at Clemson

The ROTC Unit at Clemson University hosts a Leadership Field Exercise for units from Furman University, Wofford College and Presbyterian College this Thursday through Saturday at Fant’s Grove Training Area in the Clemson Experimental Forest. The Clemson Media Relations Department reports that cadets from the four schools will mix in teams and test their leadership and critical thinking skills with a variety of physically and mentally challenging tasks. Platoons also will be conducting a land navigation challenge. On Saturday, each platoon will conduct a raid and an ambush using blank ammunition to simulate real weapon firing.
