US Gasoline Prices decreasing

After the Independence Holiday weekend, gasoline prices are now going down. Marlene Anderson with the U.S. Energy Information Administration tells more. “The U.S. average retail price for regular gasoline fell to $3.68 a gallon on Monday. That is down 2.6 cents from a week ago, based on the weekly price survey by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at $4.04 a gallon, up a tenth of a penny from a week ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast region at $3.46 a gallon, down 2.1 cents.” The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in South Carolina is $3.34, which is 19 cents higher than one year ago at this time.
