US Sen. Graham files for re-election

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham filed the paperwork and wrote a $10,440 check to run for re-election on Wednesday.  He stopped by the South Carolina Election Commission in Columbia to officially launch his campaign for a third term. A half-dozen other candidates are challenging the 58-year-old Republican, but the State Elections Commission reports that none of those challengers have filed and paid their fee as of Wednesday. The filing period ends on March 30 at noon.
