USC’s Quarles entering NFL Draft after season

South Carolina defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles plans to leave school at the end of this season, which is his junior year, to enter the NFL Draft.  His father, Buddy Quarles, said his son had talked with Gamecocks Head Ball Coach Steve Spurrier about his decision and the coach told his son that he could walk with the seniors and other players leaving early at South Carolina’s final home game against Clemson on Nov. 30. Quarles leads the team with 7 sacks and 11 tackles for loss. He ranks third in the SEC in sacks.
