Walhalla Police Charge Woman with Trafficking Meth

On Tuesday, Walhalla Police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of E. North Broad and N. College Streets. Officers at the scene said that, after they identified the driver, information was learned which led to a canine sniff of the vehicle.

A positive alert was given by the dog, and officers conducted a search wherein they said approximately 79 grams of meth and drug paraphernalia was discovered.

28 year-old Meagan Danielle Holman of Walhalla was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine. She was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center where she is being held at this time on $100,000 bond.
