(Seneca, SC)———-The Walhalla Police Department arrested a Walhalla man Wednesday evening on multiple charges.

34 year old Bradley Wayne Hockenberry has been charged, according to information from the Oconee County Detention Center, with one count each of Receiving Stolen Goods, Third Degree Burglary and Petit Larceny.

According to a case report issued by the Walhalla Police Department, a police officer was dispatched to a call in reference to a suspicious person, on East South Broad Street and South John Street, in which the person was reportedly carrying several bags with several items inside, including power tools and electrical items. A Walhalla business owner told police that the subject in question began throwing items out of the bag while going down South John Street after being confronted by the business owner regarding the subject being at his business. While speaking to police after they arrived on scene, the subject, identified as Hockenberry, claimed he located the items in a trash can in front of the old Dairy Queen on West Main Street in West Union.

After making contact with the owner of the old Dairy Queen building, the owner of the items was able to identify the items taken and those items were returned to the owner.
