Walhalla Woman arrested for Unlawful Neglect of a Child

A Walhalla woman stands charged with unlawful neglect of a child. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Delana Leigh Reynolds on Monday after she turned herself into deputies at the Oconee County Law Enforcement Center. An agent with the Narcotics Division was notified on Nov. 14 by the Department of Social Services that drug screens performed on Reynolds and her seven-year-old child showed that both tested positive for methamphetamine. The child was placed with family members. Reynolds was released from the Oconee County Detention Center on a $20,000 personal recognizance bond.
