Wanted Fugitive Captured

Zackery Edwin Sterling Fiskeaux

Deputies and Investigators with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office said that wanted fugitive, 33 year-old Zackery Edwin Sterling Fiskeaux, was arrested overnight by SLED Agents in Pickens County on Old Seneca Road. Fiskeaux was transported to the Oconee County Detention Center, where he remains awaiting bond and judicial proceedings.

Sheriff’s Deputies said that Fiskeaux fired shots at a deputy when he fled on foot after a traffic stop near Mountain Rest late Saturday night. Deputies detained 28 year old Adriane Christine Coble at the scene due to outstanding arrest warrants. She was charged with Unlawful Neglect of a Child and Transporting Alcohol with a Broken Seal. Coble was released from the Detention Center on Sunday on a combined $10,257.50 personal recognizance bond.

Zackery Edwin Sterling Fiskeaux is charged with one count each of Attempted Murder, Driving under Suspension, Failure to Stop for a Blue Light, Operating an Unregistered Vehicle, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime, Reckless Driving and Displaying a License Plate Registered to another Vehicle.
