Wastewater Spending: How Much is Fair?

How much should be paid for wastewater treatment by Seneca, Walhalla and Westminster to the OJRSA is fair? That question went left unanswered yesterday during a meeting of the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority.

A meeting to address the matter again is set to take place on Friday between board chair Scott Moulder and the OJRSA’s executive director, Chris Eleazer. At the members meeting on Monday, Eleazer reported that a project that will extend sewer lines to I-85 Exits 1 and 2 would be delayed until at least September. The Sewer South Phase 2 project has a completion date of August 2022.
