Weather Advisory for Upstate until 11am

The South Carolina Department of Transportation urges drivers to use caution when traveling today after the winter storm that covered roads in ice and sent debris crashing onto roadways. Engineers said while many major roads were clear this morning, there are still icy spots. The DOT said ice and debris is still present on some shoulders, medians, and in shaded areas. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Upstate due to the possibility of icy roads. That advisory will expire at 11am.
