Weekend Arrests Reveal Charges of Heroin Trafficking and Arson Against Suspects

Jail records show that Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Austin Stephen Lawless, 29, on Saturday and charged him with 2nd Degree Arson. He is currently being held at the Oconee County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.

Christopher Jordan Richins

In a separate case, Christopher Jordan Richins, 20, was arrested by Seneca Police on Friday and charged with trafficking in heroin in an amount greater than 14 grams but less than 28 grams, as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Bond was denied for Richins and he remains in custody in Oconee County.
