West Union Man arrested on Burglary and Larceny Charges

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a West Union man Wednesday morning on charges of third degree burglary and grand larceny. 21-year-old Joshua Steven Breland was booked on the charges at the Oconee County Detention Center. According to investigators, an officer responded to an address on Ebenezer Road in West Union on January 27th in regards to a 4 wheeler that was reported missing from a shed in the back yard of the property.  The officer did notice that the lock was cut at the door of the shed. During the course of the investigation, officers were able to determine that Breland did break in and enter the building and did take the red 2002 Suzuki 4-wheeler, which according to warrants was valued at over $2,000. Breland was released from the Detention Center on a $30,000 personal recognizance bond.
