Westminster Business Owner Passes From Cardiac Related Event

From Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis:

A 49 year-old Westminster man died Wednesday afternoon around 4:20pm after a single vehicle collision in Seneca at the intersection of Sandifer Boulevard and Jennings Avenue.

Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis said the deceased, identified as Thomas “Tommy” Glenn, was the unrestrained driver of a Jeep that struck a guardrail and went down an embankment. Glenn had just left his business, Glenn’s Muffler Shop, minutes prior to the collision. It is suspected a medical event preceded the accident.

An autopsy was performed Thursday morning.  Mr. Glenn died from a cardiac related event that resulted in the motor vehicle collision.

He had no fatal injuries.

His manner of death is classified Natural.
