According to the investigation, Lanning was blocked or denied from purchasing Pseudoephedrine with the most recent block on Nov. 23. The attempted purchase on Nov. 23 placed the total amount of Pseudoephedrine above the legal amount of 9 grams that one individual can purchase in a 30 day period. Lanning also attempted to purchase Pseudoephedrine on Nov. 4, which was also blocked. Pseudoephedrine is a primary ingredient in the production of illegal Methamphetamine,” said Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt.
