Williamston PD Investigating Car Break-Ins at Church

The Williamston Police Department is investigating four car break-ins at the Williamston Church of Christ on Sunday afternoon, and now they are warning other Upstate communities to be on guard. Investigators said the passenger side windows were smashed for entry while the church was in service. Items stolen include debit and credit cards, three cell phones, a wallet, a purse, and money. Fingerprints have been lifted from the vehicles and are being processed. The police urge the public to lock their cars and remove valuables. They are asking for community help in the investigation.
