Woman Sustained Head Injury After Crash in Seneca Thursday

Seneca Police said a medical episode was to blame for a Thursday afternoon crash on West North First Street near Finch Automotive.

The accident happened around 2:45pm, police said, when the driver of a 2008 Toyota Corolla lost control of the eastbound vehicle, crossed into oncoming traffic and then over a sidewalk. The car spun around and went down an embankment before it was stopped by a chain link fence.

The driver, identified only as a 48 year-old female from Seneca, was taken to a Greenville hospital to get treatment for a head injury that she sustained in the wreck.
