WPD Will Issue Warnings for Face Mask Ordinance Violations Until September 15

Walhalla Police Department issued a statement that provided an update to the City’s Face Covering Ordinance in regards to how the city’s law enforcement officers will respond. Walhalla Police said that they will not be issuing any citations for violating this ordinance until after September 15th. City Council voted to extend the period in which only warnings will be issued.
