SHS hosting Athletics Orientation

The SHS Athletics Department will host an Athletics Orientation for all 11th and 12th grade athletes that are playing or planning to play a sport at Seneca High School. The orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24 at 6:30pm in the Harry Hamilton Auditorium.  All athletes should attend with at least one parent or guardian.  The meeting will last 45 minutes.

SC Unemployment Rate Unchanged

In August, South Carolina’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged at 8.1%. The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce reports that the unemployment rate has shown little movement since April, fluctuating between 8 and 8.1%. Unemployed persons statewide totaled 175,602 in August, an increase of 1,165. Oconee County’s jobless situation was also unchanged from July to August at 8.8%.  […]
