The SHS Athletics Department will host an Athletics Orientation for all 11th and 12th grade athletes that are playing or planning to play a sport at Seneca High School. The orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24 at 6:30pm in the Harry Hamilton Auditorium.  All athletes should attend with at least one parent or guardian.  The meeting will last 45 minutes.

Oconee County now has a Capital Project Sales Commission. In August, South Carolina’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged at 8.1%. The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce reports that the unemployment rate has shown little movement since April, fluctuating between 8 and 8.1%. Unemployed persons statewide totaled 175,602 in August, an increase of 1,165. Oconee County’s jobless situation was also unchanged from July to August at 8.8%.  […]
