Sunday Alcohol Sales on AC Ballot

Anderson County voters will decide whether or not Sunday alcohol sales will be permitted in today’s election. In addition, a hospitality tax issue is on the ballot. Voters will cast ballots on a proposed two cent tax on every dollar spent eating at restaurants to help fix ball parks and recreational fields for children.

Drug Warrants served on Clemson Man

The Seneca Police Department reports the arrest of a Clemson man on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, for two counts of distribution of cocaine. Officers arrested 24-year-old Phillip Jermonte Bruce on two outstanding warrants. He was released from the Oconee County Detention Center on a $20,000 personal recognizance bond on Sunday, Nov. 4.
