Clemson knocks off Wake Forest

Clemson held its second straight ACC opponent to 44 points in a 60-44 victory over Wake Forest on Tuesday at Littlejohn Coliseum. The Tigers held the Demon Deacons to 24.6% shooting, the second lowest field goal percentage by an ACC opponent against Clemson. The win improved the Tigers’ record to 10-6 on the season and 2-2 in the ACC.

Gamecocks fall to Auburn on Hardwood

Junior guard Bruce Ellington scored a season-high 18 points for South Carolina, but it was not enough for the Gamecocks as they fell 74-71 in a back-and-forth SEC matchup with Auburn on Saturday afternoon at Colonial Life Arena. The contest featured 27 lead changes and 13 ties. With the loss, South Carolina falls to 10-5 overall and 0-2 in SEC play.

Seniors lead Clemson to Victory

Clemson seniors Devin Booker and Milton Jennings led the Tigers to their first ACC victory of the season on Saturday, a 59-44 triumph over Virginia at Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney will present the first Brian Dawkins Clemson Lifetime Achievement Award to Brian Dawkins at the team’s Football Banquet on Saturday evening.
