South Carolina senior Connor Shaw will be the Gamecocks’ starting quarterback Saturday night, head coach Steve Spurrier announced after practice on Wednesday afternoon. The No. 13 Gamecocks continue their preparations for Saturday’s SEC Eastern Division matchup in Columbia with the Kentucky Wildcats. The game is set for 7:38pm and will be televised by FSN and broadcast locally on WSNW.

All Seneca Recreation football players and cheerleaders are invited to the 2013 Recreation Night at Seneca High School this Friday night as the Bobcats host the Palmetto Mustangs. The community is invited to come support the Seneca High School Lady Cat Volleyball teams as they take on Walhalla tonight at 5:30pm and 7pm in the gym at Seneca High School.  Any student that presents a Seneca High School or Seneca Middle School student ID can enter the game for only $1 before 7pm.
