Paraglider Injured in Accident

One person suffered a possible broken hip but was conscious when paramedics arrived at the scene of a paragliding accident Sunday afternoon in Oconee County. The incident happened around 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon near Babb Road, which is between the communities of Townville and Oakway. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

COVID-19 Testing Opportunities This Week

DHEC will provide free COVID-19 testing at Tri-County Technical College’s Pendleton Campus starting Tuesday, December 15. Testing will be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 915 S. Mechanic Street.
