Hiker rescued from Stumphouse Tunnel Park

A hiker needed aid yesterday afternoon near Stumphouse Tunnel Park. According to Chief Scott Krein, rescuers from Oconee County Emergency Services rendered aid to a hiker suffering from fatigue due to temperatures between 85 and 90 degrees. The rescue party searched one mile into the woods from the main tunnel to find the hiker.
