Vote in One Primary on Tuesday

Tuesday, June 12, is primary election day in South Carolina. Voting precincts open at 7am and close at 7pm. According to the South Carolina State Election Commission, a voter may vote in either the Republican or the Democratic primary, but not both. State law prohibits voters from casting ballots in more than one party’s primary on the same day.
